Keighley Cats 6, Bradford Thunderbirds 34 - Bradford Thunderbirds lived up to their name and scored within 10 minutes of the kick-off against Keighley Albion Cats. This woke Keighley with a start and made them roll up their sleeves an produce some hard work. Tackling was led by Sarah Cartwright who seemed to relish her new position of second row. Cougar Cubs Under-14s 0 Odsal Sedbergh 18 - For the second week running the half time score was 0-0 at Utley, but unlike last week the Cubs lost the plot midway through the second period when Odsal prop Jordan Preistley intercepted near his own line and showed tremendous pace and stamina as he sprinted the length of the field to touch down. Silsden Under-10s B were in fine form to sec ure a 2-1 victory over local rivals Sutton Under-10s B. Silsden opened the scoring with a goal from Jed Cooper only for Sutton to equalise before half time. Silsden's midfield dominated the start of the second half with man of the match Mark Smith leading the way. Sam Conway scored the winning goal for Silsden with some fine support work from Luke Wilson and Kyle Todd.  more...
